Colonial Inspiration in Lambertville, MI

Picture this. A Colonial inspired home. Soft, earthy, historic colors all throughout the house. Something black in each room to ground it. The dining room had a raised fireplace, a long black table surrounded by Windsor chairs, and a butter churn in one corner. Rustic artwork and homespun fabric accents throughout. The whole interior is very reminiscent of Colonial New England, which is amazing considering the home is a ranch, in Lambertville, Michigan!
The homeowners had spent several years renovating their home, tackling projects one room at a time. They did as much work as they could on their own, and hiring experts where they needed to.
Their kitchen was the last room to finish! And while their cabinets were beautiful, and in great shape, they didn't really match the Colonial feel to the rest of the home. Refinishing the cabinets was more than the homeowners could handle, so they called the cabinet refinishing experts at Renaissance Cabinet Refinishing!
After some initial consultation and color samples, the client chose to have their kitchen cabinets refinished in Tricorn Black, with oil rubbed bronze hardware. Most people wouldn't dream of refinishing their cabinets in such a dark color! It's a very bold choice! However, the client had a few things working in their favor, including lots of natural light. This kitchen cabinet refinishing project is spot-on in keeping with the homeowner's style!
